Cul-ture
The customary beliefs, social forms and material traits of a racial, religious, or social group

The changes we have seen are mind boggling, and the projections of what's ahead are equally incredible....How will these changes impact the church?

This isn't a matter of if they will...they profoundly do so already. The more important question is how should they impact the church, and how do church leaders understand the monumental shifts in our culture...this era into which we've been invited by God to make His Son, Jesus, known could hardly be more complex or exhilarating!

It is against this backdrop that Ron Martoia challenges, stretches, and communicates some clear principles stressing the importance of meeting the changing culture in relevant ways.  Each session is available for your own personal study. dr. ron martoia is a transformational architect…

…his passion is helping people, and the organisms they

serve, design and experience revolutionary change.

his area of expertise is transforming organizations from mechanical machines to organic ecosystems.  simply put, he answers the question, “how do we trade in the WD-40, hammer and screwdriver set we used to use to keep the machine hitting on all eight cylinders and instead develop the sorts of leadership skills that are necessary to maintain the health of an ecosystem; skills like intercepting entropy, injecting life giving nutrients and knowing the right questions to ask to maintain the health of the system?”  inspiring organizational transition from the modern mechanical world to the more organic postmodern world is what ron is engaging afor the next run of his vocational life.

his area of primary focus for the last 18 years has been on the emerging church landscape where he has planted a church known for its use of creative teams that engage the arts and architecture in designing immersive and interactive experience.  westwinds became known for its layered aesthetics using digital art, sculpture, scent, media, word, paint and reinvigorated ritual to help people experience God is fresh ways.

through his speaking, consulting and writing, ron is using his cultural intonation to help churches and organizations all over the world come to grips with how to more effectively intersect our 21st century context.  author of numerous periodical articles, his most recent writing project is a book entitled morph!, a volume helping leaders do good self leadership as they foster creative and compelling environments.

ron’s masters degree is from trinity evangelical divinity school and his doctorate is from fuller theological seminary. in addition to having served on adjunct faculty at several universities, ron has provided pastoral training and organizational development in 9 countries of the world.  While his dark addiction is golf, he is also a yoga instructor, enjoys creating digital and oil-on-canvas art, while his friends prefer his gourmet cooking and wine collecting.
